Afromothers Boot Camps 2025
At Afromothers Uganda, our boot camps are designed as transformative, age-specific and family-centered experiences that nurture confidence, character, and purpose across generations. Held mainly during school holidays, these programs provide a safe, engaging, and impactful environment for children, youth, and parents.
Our Vision
Through these boot camps, Afromothers Uganda is raising a generation of confident girls, responsible boys, and empowered parents creating stronger families and a more resilient society.
Program Structure
The boot camps are conducted in a sequential format during holiday seasons:
- A full week dedicated to AfroQueens Boot Camp
- Followed by a full week of AfroKings Boot Camp
- Parents engage through the African Family Boot Camp, ensuring a holistic family transformation approach
AfroQueens Boot Camp
Nurturing Confidence, Character, and Purpose in Girls
The AfroQueens Boot Camp is a dynamic holiday program designed for girls aged 7 to 24 years, bringing together children, teenagers, and young women in a structured, mentorship-driven environment. Modeled in the spirit of Ekisaakate—a culturally rooted space for learning and mentorship—this boot camp focuses on shaping the whole girl through intentional guidance and practical life skills.
Over the course of a full week, participants are engaged in activities that help them:
- Build confidence and self-esteem
- Develop strong character and discipline
- Discover their identity and purpose
- Learn life skills, communication, and leadership
- Navigate peer pressure, social challenges, and personal growth
The AfroQueens Boot Camp creates a safe and empowering space where girls are mentored to grow into confident, responsible, and purpose-driven women.
AfroKings Boot Camp
Raising Boys into Responsible and Purposeful Men
The AfroKings Boot Camp mirrors the AfroQueens program but is specifically designed for boys aged 7 to 24 years. It provides a structured space where boys, teenagers, and young men are guided to grow into responsible and impactful individuals.
Also inspired by the Ekisaakate model, this boot camp focuses on shaping boys through mentorship, discipline, and life skills training.
Conducted over a full week (following the AfroQueens session), participants are equipped to:
- Develop discipline, responsibility, and accountability

- Build emotional intelligence and resilience

The AfroKings Boot Camp is intentional about raising a generation of men who are grounded, responsible, and prepared to lead in their families and communities.
