Our Story As Afromothers Foundation
Dr. Blessing’s story began in the heart of hardship. As a double orphan, she faced the harsh realities of life at a tender age. Struggling for survival in a world that seemed indifferent. Driven by the deep-seated belief that every child deserves a chance at life and a future, Dr. Blessing embarked on a mission to uplift mothers and orphaned children facing circumstances similar to her own. Drawing inspiration from her personal experiences, she founded the Afro Mothers Foundation, an NGO dedicated to providing support, education,Shelter and empowerment to those in need.
The foundation’s ethos is rooted in the principle that the journey from adversity to empowerment is not solitary but a collective effort. Afro Mothers strives to be the guardian angel for families navigating the complexities of parenthood alone and for orphaned children yearning for a chance at a brighter tomorrow
Dr blessing started on her call to support vulnerable families in giving basic needs and mental wellness, providing psychosocial support to children in school communities through counselling, uplifting orphans who were bright but unable to access education, to help them acquire education and vocational hand skills. Blessing stretched her scope and combined efforts with wellwishers to support her calling of touching countless lives and inspiring a legacy of resilience, compassion, and empowerment. Afro Mothers Foundation is more than an NGO; it is a symbol of hope, a lifeline for those who dare to dream beyond their circumstances.
As Afro Mothers Foundation continues to grow and touch the lives of many, it stands as a living legacy of Dr. Blessing E Namara’s journey – a journey that transformed personal challenges into a force for positive change
